Payment methods

The following payment methods are supported by Geuren Alchemie.

Unfortunately, we recently had to withdraw a number of payment methods due to the Payment services (PSD 2) – Directive (EU) 2015/2366, which entered into force on 19 February 2019. According to this directive, it is no longer permitted to request a contribution to the often high transaction costs for payment methods (surcharge ban).
This does not apply to payments via PayPal, which is also an expensive payment method for the webshop owner.

We offer our customers with a Dutch bank account the payment method iDEAL through our payment handler Sisow.

Choose iDEAL as payment method and select your bank. You will be redirected to your banks website where the payment order will be ready. You will be asked by your bank to complete a few details to authorise your payment. The amount is debited directly from your account, We are then informed your order has been successfully paid.

iDEAL advantages over other methods of payment:

• iDEAL is as familiar, secure and easy as internet banking
• iDEAL is supported by the major Dutch banks
• Access to the Internet banking of one of the participating banks is sufficient to be able to make use of iDEAL
• Control and overview of the payment

Pay with Bancontact
We offer Bancontact for our Belgium customers.

Pay with Sofort
Klarna is offered for customers from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands.

Pay by Credit Card (Stripe) through our payment handler Stripe.
The following credit cards are supported: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Pay with Klarna.
Klarna is offered for customers from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and The Unites States.To keep the prices as low as possible we ask for a contribution towards the costs (5%) that Klarna charges.

Pay with PayPal. Payment via PayPal is costly for shop owners. To keep the prices as low as possible we ask for a contribution towards the transaction costs (4%). After selecting this payment method you are redirected to the PayPal website where the payment transaction is undertaken. Following payment you will return to Geuren Alchemie.

You can choose from the following payment methods:

• Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and other cards might be accepted depending on your country.
  You do not need a PayPal account to use these payment methods.
• If you have a PayPal account linked to your bank account, payment may be made in this way.

Select Direct Bank transfer as payment method.

The bank details and instructions needed to transfer the money will be listed in the order confirmation, which you will receive by email after placing the order.

The order will be despatched once cleared payment is received.
